We are happy to be awarded our 3rd overall Quest for Quality Award, and in 2017 we rank #1 in Customer Service–to us this is the most important category. As stated in our mission statement: “We will work to fully meet and exceed our customers’ expectations by providing reliable service, maintaining strong relationships, and ensuring a positive business experience….” This is the basis of our service and it’s great to be recognized by our customers for this.
This is normal operating procedure according to Vice President of Alaska Operations, Craig Forbes: “This really goes out to our team of men and women who work very hard every day, they deserve it. Taking care of customers is always at the forefront of everything we do, we live and breathe it. So, it’s not a surprise to me that we ranked #1 in Customer Service. From my perspective we’ve earned it!”
For those who are not so familiar, the Quest for Quality Award is a prestigious award. This year is the 34th Annual Quest for Quality Award by Logistics Management and it is regarded in the industry as the most important measure of customer satisfaction and excellence. To determine who wins, customers and readers vote and evaluate companies in all modes and service types. This year the research group received 5,437 responses. In order to be a winner a company had to receive at least 5% of the category vote. Transportation service providers are rated in five categories: On-Time Performance, Value, Information Technology, Customer Service, and Equipment & Operations.
